Where does the ladies handkerchief come from?

Basically, the scarves come from Rome in the 1st century BC. and they were used to protect the face and mouth, and to wipe away sweat.

It was a luxury item reserved for the rich and famous, due to the fact that bedding was extremely expensive at the time. However, by the 1st century AD. C., the middle and lower classes gained more access to handkerchiefs when they were imported more easily and cheaply.

Until the 18th century, the scarf was made in many shapes and sizes, including rectangle, square, and round.

Today, tissues are used for everything from cleaning hands, drying tears, and fixing makeup.

This little piece of cloth is very useful for cleaning up life’s little accidents. It occupies limited space and is very easy to clean and store.
