Day of death
Thursday would traditionally have been D-Day or D+0 in plans for the aftermath of the Queen’s death, codenamed London Bridge.
But the announcement came late, around 6:30 p.m. m. on Thursday 8th September, which means that the plans were changed one day to allow complex fixes to be implemented, which means that D+0 will be considered on Friday.
What happens when the Queen dies?

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday, September 8, that the longest-reigning British monarch in history had passed away.

During the mourning period, staff uniforms will change. Comedy shows on the BBC will be cancelled, and the British economy is likely to take a hit as the country goes through a period of great turmoil.
